This is a great set for the beginner for acrylics or water colors. I have been using them in my classes for a few years and have finally had the need to purchase a few new sets. I've had no issues with stray hairs on the brushes as I've seen on other inexpensive sets and highly recommend this set to my students that wish to buy their own set.
