The frame was the exact size I needed, however the only two available had small nicks in the frame.  I bought one and covered the nicks with a black marker.  Fortunately, I also had a 50% off coupon in my app.

My son is a professional artist and I do a lot of framing for him. Michael’s has xlt 2-for-1 deals on frames of all sizes, and they’ll also custom cut mats for all sizes and shapes for a reasonable price and usually pretty good turnaround time.

I particularly like these 12x12 black, recessed frames because my son has some popular 12x12 prints that look great in these—no mat necessary, which saves some money. You can simply spray or two-sided tape mount a quality print on the backing inside ghe frame and it liiks great.

This line of frames/mats is fantastic.  This is the 5th one I have bought from this model, all different sizes.  The double mat is good looking and helps make your art pop.  This price was great, especially if you can catch on sale and a coupon!
