You can only use small pieces of this foam if you cut areas that are flat but any large pieces will never lay flat. I cut 12" x 12" sections and there was always a curve, even after laying huge weighted boxes on top of them, to flatten and also rolling in the opposite direction... these methods worked for a very short time before it reverted back into a rolled piece...  bad design. The advertising shows a Halloween mask made out of foam but, this would be impossible, since it will never lay flat ... a mask made from this product would roll around on both sides of your face if you tried to wear a mask made out of this roll... very unhappy & I feel taken advantage of and deceived. Michaels won't refund my money because it's been over 1 months since purchasing, but it took over a month to weigh this foam down just enough to use portions of it. I only opened 1 roll and now have another roll of a useless material.

I had gotten this product to distribute the weight of my fish tank. It shipped to me quickly and for a great deal. I'd definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This foam pad is a good size. Worked great for my application. And it seems like it will say good for a long time. I would recommend this product to anyone that likes to craft.
