I started a project with a long straight tunisian hook and was ready to give up on this technique.  I did not want to but a full set in case I could not get the hang of this style crochet. With this hook,  I quickly fell in love with this style and appreciate this how was sold singular so I could test the waters without taking the deep plunge of purchasing a full set. The hook is smooth and comfortable in my hand. The cord did not tangle, catch or hinder my stitching in any way. In fact, it helped because of its flexibility. With the long straight hook, I felt as if I was hitting everything - the arm of the chair, myself. I highly recommend this hook for those wanting to test the waters of Tunisian crochet.

I really enjoy this product. It works great, it's flexible so it's easy to store, work doesn't fall off the hook and it's sturdy. This could be a problem on my end since I'm a beginner. I gave it 4 stars because it took me a while to figure out how the hook is angled. I typically work with the aluminum hooks, the difference isn't major but it's enough to notice. I'm leaving a photo of a aluminum hook(right) in comparison to the H/8 5mm ChiaoGoo hook, showing the differences of the hook itself. Overall, this product works as intended and makes large projects easier to complete. Definitely will buy again from this brand.
