I had the same trouble as other users with regards to dryness and incapacity to roll and have the dots stick together. If not "fresh" - and there is no way of knowing - the product could be  a dud.  I wrote to the support page as indicated above and was simply sent a link to repurchase the item.

I bought these for my kids not long ago. When we went to play with it, all the glitter dots were dried up so they were unusable. We ended up using the tools with kinetic sand instead.

I bought the sparkle station and multiple refill kits for my son's birthday, something his big sister would enjoy doing as well. Unfortunately I can't say anything positive about them most of them were hard as rock and the ones that weren't just crumbled. They didn't stick even a little and what I thought would be a fun birthday activity for the kids made everyone sad and annoyed.  I was hoping that they could go home with a fun keepsake from my son's party and all I got was a frantic rush fill in activity. It did teach me one thing ALWAYS TRY THINGS BEFORE HAND.  I love Crayola products and this one is just NOT ONE OF THEM.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a great set Glitter Dots of glitter, my daughter is happy because she can stick them on any surface and decorate many things, like her school notebooks, some furniture in her room and your projects in a fun new way. This set is very complete, it brings many glitter dots and all the necessary tools to apply them in different ways, it is a great way to develop children's creativity. Recommended!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glitter Dots are really a fun, innovative concept for kids crafts. You get all the fun of embellishing things with glitter, without all the loose glitter mess! 
 The glitter dots take a bit to get smoothly combined and rolled out but the more you work them together, the prettier they are! 
My daughter and I made a notecard for her great grandma and the trinket box for storing her  treasures. There are plenty of glitter dots for future project and they are smartly packaged individually so that are just as fresh to work with later!

The color are very pretty, it was easy to do. And made pretty designs. You simply squish the the glitter balls. You can squish, roll, and press the glitter balls into all sorts of shape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crayola Glitter Dots Sparkle Station is great and it's loads of fun, It's so easy and fun at the same time that my 7 year old son and my 14 year old teenage daughter actually participated and for the first time they both enjoyed something together. I love that it isn't as messy as regular glitter so clean up is much easier, so much easier that they actually cleaned it up and I didn't have to go behind them. You have to squish the dots and then spread them. I couldn't believe there were so many pieces included that my son and daughter got to make lots of cards and decorated lots of pictures and there are still plenty of left overs to make and decorate with. I definitely recommend trying this if your kids love glitter and love making,  creating and decorating things. They'll love this glitter station.
