Cool texture to work with! This will be built-up "crud" on a project I'm working on, then painted a rusty red or dirt brown color to reflect those surfaces on the final item.

Dvandom

It has a similar texture to Vallejo Earth Medium, and is a bit hard to squeeze out of the bottle as a result (that's basically my only complaint, it'd be better in a wider mouth jar so I could scoop it out with a spreading tool).  It has more volume than DecoArt's scenics concrete and moss textured paints, so fills a niche they don't, but at the same time it's not quite a proper putty and is not a good idea for any structural elements, just surface details.

Sturdy, affordable samd texture. Some sand texture is outrageously priced. This, like all DecoArt products, is not. I recommend this stuff big time.

I really like this texture for paint. You can use as much as you want for a more textured affect. I use my mostly on flower pots for a awesome look.
