Great deal for the amount of colors. Colors are rich in pigment and in a convenient mini size. All of my long sticks of pastels are all broken in half so why not have the pastel sticks already halved. Brilliant!

I purchased the Faber-Castell soft pastels 24 pack to use for my introduction into the world of pastels. They provide a silky finish. The colors are vibrant. I have a lot to learn with application but frequent practice will help that. When I received them in the mail, I did not realize I ordered minis. Something to keep in mind as you will use them quickly.

I am an amateur and these pastels were just what i wanted to hone my capabilities.  I used them to create a "wash" type rough, shaded drawing, then used sharpies to add details.  Turned out much better than expected!
