These are great for drawings and adding a more controlled water color blend between colors. These are definitely better along water color paper. The wood is strong and the pencils color “lead” does not break easily. The color are vibrant and don’t wash off when water is applied. They can be used as water color and another media for art. My daughter is able to use these as well. They have helped improve her artsy side. It’s also a good substitute for water colors as they are cleaner or can be left without water application. As a final note, I recommend these to anyone needing to try a new type of art tool. As pencils the work better to cover finer areas as well.

My daughter is always drawing and my.grandson thinks he is Picasso lol. I love that they are true to their color. They are easy to use and sharpen and don't smug all over the paper. Great for the artwork I'm collecting on my fridge.
