I can't sew, so forget fading! A friend of mine had a pair of favorite fleece-lined khakis that he just won't get rid of & the stores no longer carry that exact material combo & fit.  These pants needed repair long ago, but he wasn't willing to get rid of them & the tops just kept being bigger! The fabric left of the pants were so thin and ripped in several directions.  
I tried these patches.  I used two patches- one between the fleece and khakis, facing up& one one the outside, facing down.  (i had them one on top of the other with the glue side facing each other.) Low and behold it worked.  He is happy beyond belief! Another pair of pants saved from the landfill!! I love it!

I wish they have options of purchasing in single colors instead of purchasing small patches of non duplicate colors.  Also wish they made larger pieces- i can always cut them smaller to fit out to the shape and size i need.  

Very thankful these were available!
