My advice is to only buy in a store where you can see the box and even open it to check that it is ok.  Like other reviews I ordered 6 of these to be shipped and what a disaster!  One came in a box the size of a refrigerator all by itself with no packing materials, bubble wrap, etc and was completely damaged.  Another one was shipped in a similar fashion but by some miracle was not damaged.  One arrived damaged and no hardware.  I need more and these are difficult to find in the stores (one here and there).  If you can find them they are quite simple to assemble and are very useful for storage.

It’s a sturdy enough shelf but mine arrived with several large chunks chipped off as if it’d been returned and then shipped out again. There were no paint chips in the box so I don’t think it happened in transit. I put it together anyway because we needed a storage solution quickly but I’m very disappointed in the quality considering the price tag on it

I bought these because a friend recommended them. She bought some on-line and received them broken. She now buys hers in store only. I thought her experience was a fluke. NOPE! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM HAS AT LEAST ONE BREAK SOMEWHERE. The thing is, I dont want the hassle of returning them. I’m so disappointed in Michael’s. You’re better than that. Arlene Favazza

I ordered online and received tracking information.   Then got a message from UPS that the merchandise was "destroyed."  I do not know the status of my order.  Have not received a refund.   From other reviews, sounds like a quality control issue either with manufacturing or packaging.

I ordered online and when I got to the store, we noticed the pieces were broken.  We went to the shelf to exchange them and the only 2 they had were also broken.  They need to inspect their merchandise before putting it back out.  What a waste of time!

I love these and could not find them in the area. Two came damaged and stores will not take them and exchange. Last time lost my “voucher.”

I ordered 6 of these cubes at one time. 5 of them were delivered on June 15, 2023. The last one was delivered on June 16, 2023. Every one of the cubes received on 6/15 had some damage on one or more of the back corners. Not enough to show at the front, so I decided to keep them and hope the small cracks don't cause future problems. Everything was too heavy to try dragging them to a store to return them. The cube I received on 6/16 was in perfect shape. So I would suggest to Michael's that they check the source of the 5 cubes delivered together and see if the staff who handled them are being too rough.  I intend to order more because they are the only thing I can find that will enable me to organize with the 12x12 scrapbook cases that I use a lot. However, before we unpack the next ones entirely, we are going to check the pieces and return everything that has cracks, etc.

The cubes are very sturdy BUT 50% of my order had damage to the corners. One was crushed and the other cracked and crushed. Very disappointed.
