I used this last winter and was not impressed.  The color saturation was good but the consistency was unpredictable.  I was able to use it by putting the bottles in hot water with the tip down.  That cut down on the stickiness too.    I got some powdered meringue and made my own to get some other colors and that worked better.  I think I'll get some squeeze bottles and make my own this year.

I bought 6 different colors of this and was not happy with any of them. Some were too thick and wouldn't come out of the bottle, others were super liquidy and just puddled everywhere.

The icing and bottles are absolutely terrible. Couldn’t get the icing out no matter what we did. There are better options available, get another brand.

I purchased eight of these in different colors.  Every.  Single.  One. were separated.  Part was oily and part was hard as a rock.  It was not possible to shake it enough to mix.  I couldn't get it out of the bottle to try mixing in a bowl.  I was supposed to be decorating Christmas cookies with my grandson.  I finally had to go to the grocery store and buy some Betty Crocker icing.  Terribly disappointing and a waste of money and time.

I tried several colors. ALL remained separated on the tube: you could feel the thicker elements at the bottom of the tube, and despite shaking the bottle long and hard, it never improved. Buy a different brand, make your, just don't waste your money on this etuff.
