Inconsistent thickness, quite a few blemishes, and discolored portion on the leather that was exposed to the outside of the package. Other than this, its a good amount of leather, and it is reasonably easy to work with.

Purchased two of these with high hopes.  The quality appears to be very good and I am sure it will work in most leather applications.  First issue, advertised as 5-7 sq/ft.  I only opened one and it is about 4.4 sq/ft.  I expected the size to be on the lower end but not less.  The second issue and the main reason I am returning, the leather was rolled and wrapped with a plastic band.  The band had some type of adhesive which discolored the leather.  I tried to wipe off with a clean rag and water.  The stain was still there.  When wiping with the water, the stain accepted the water differently then the non-stained area.   I am new to leather and maybe there is a different way to fix the issue but I did not want to take the chance and make worse.   I was going to lose about one foot of the leather due to the discoloration.  I will be returning both pieces.
