These are an absolute dream to use. I never thought anything would trump my Clover Armor set, but I tried one of these on a whim, and was blown away by how it works so smoothly. These are more for advanced crocheters. Why? Because they're slick. They go through the yarn like butter. When you're ready to up your crochet game, it's time to buy these hooks. I had no problem with splitting or gripping these hooks, and I have psoriatic arthritis. I can crochet with these hooks for a long time. Because they are so slick, I prefer the Clover Amour hooks. It's a little too fast for me at this time. But when I feel more comfortable with my crochet skills, I'll return to using these bad boys full time.

For ergonomic hooks, I think they’re pretty ordinary. But I think they’re pretty, so I bought them when they went on sale. I do love them though

What else is there to say? They’re absolutely beautiful and the most comfortable hooks I’ve ever used.

I typically can only stand the standard, metal hooks with no grips. We all know the ones, they're uncomfy to use for long periods of time and tend to squeak. However this hook is the first hook other than those that I can bear. I can crochet for hours comfortably and I love how the hook isn't the typical shinny metal that reflects and catches the light from time to time. So smooth and never catches no mater the material. 10/10 will be buying in more sizes.
