I’m still new to gouache and experimenting with different brands. I have to say that the pigment is so much more vibrant than the student-grade gouache, which is why they’re so much pricier. When it comes to these gouache vs a cheaper brand, it’s all about what is more practical for you. I have not tested other artist-grade gouache yet, so I can’t say how these compares to other pricier gouache

Highly recommend, paints super smooth and looks great when dried. Don’t recommend cheap gouache unfortunately you have to practice on the good stuff

Winsor&Newton never fails. This is a great set with the essential cool/warm tubes of primary colors. They mix easily for the right consistency and dry beautifully matte.
