Using this low-profile option to replace the standard pieces provided in the dollhouse kit, you are not only adding a lot of useful and practical storage and space economy, but you are also adding a delightful aesthetic to your dollhouse. This low-profile staircase might work in other dollhouses and scenes, but it should be viewed from the front as it is deliberately narrow to give the illusion of depth. It can be used as a functional staircase that continues through to the second floor, or the railings can be snapped to make it fit without any aperture as a cosmetic staircase. This is cut from basswood ply and basswood veneer. Full instructions are included (there is also a YouTube tutorial). Kit includes all the parts, organized by step; instructions, emery board for sanding, drawer & door pulls, 'glass' for the divided-light doors, and an extra newel post for the second floor if you intend on making it a functional staircase.
