Welcome to my shop! Here you'll find beautifully crafted 3D laser cut wooden lake maps Lake Mille Lacs in Minnesota. Each map is intricately designed and cut using the latest technology, resulting in stunningly detailed representations of the lake's topography. The maps start with a birch top layer that is sealed with a clear water based sealer to let the beauty of the natural wood color shine through. Then each water layer is a blue gradient going from a light blue to a progressively darker blue to emulate actual water depth. The map has a total of 8 layers. The frames are made from locally grown and milled Minnesota woods. You can choose between a black frame (black stained red oak), figured white pine, cherry, or walnut. The back of the map has a french cleat installed. A French cleat is a type of woodworking joint that consists of two interlocking pieces of wood with a beveled edge. The maps come in 2 different ratios; square and rectangle. Square is 10x10, 14x14, 18x18, 22x22, 27x27, and 32x32. Rectangle is 8x12, 12x18, 16x24, 20x30, 24x36, 30x45.
