This Beginner's Quilling Kit includes materials for three different cards - a cupcake, a bouquet of heart balloons, and a bouquet of flowers. Written and photo instructions are included along with all materials needed. Quilling paper is separated by card, quilling tool, tweezers, glue tube, and three cards with envelopes fit nicely into a white box with clear top. Cards are approximately 4x6 inches and quilling paper is 1/4 inch tall. Quilling as a craft dates back to the early 1400s and while patterns have evolved over time, it remains largely the same techniques. This is a great way to learn a new craft or medium without having to purchase an over abundance of tools and materials. Each card takes between 30-60 minutes to complete. This project is great for kids older than 5, teens, and adults alike.
