This wallet was constructed with the fantastic highest quality Hermann Oak leather. I also used some of my favorite high quality soft rustic leather, The interior lining is a full-grain leather that has been smoothed and waxed to enhance the leather fibers. It has a fantastic rustic appeal. The skull is hand carved and hand dyed like all of my crafts. After carving and tooling the skull I pushed the skull out from behind the leather to create a deeper 3D effect. It was then reinforced with leather dust compound filler that I created. If you take a look at the image of the inner locking snap, I have reinforced the leather by using a circle of 4oz leather. This removes all contact of the snap to the actual body of the leather. This prevents the snap from digging into the leather and causing any fracture. This wallet is strong and built to last. The wallet has 2 large pockets, 2 card pockets and a zipper pouch that I made big enough to fit cards in as well. I used high quality 1mm thick Tiger thread for the hand stitching and the wallet closes with quality heavy duty snaps. There is an 1/4in eyelet installed in the center section of the wallet to remain hidden for the chain to attach.
