The BirdHaus Series evolved out of scrap cedar from a landscaping project. Not wanting to throw out perfectly good lumber I decided to make birdhouses. BirdHaus #05 Hanging Garden combines two of my favorite things... woodworking and gardening. The garden side has a cut-out that holds a small pot for succulents or pot saucer for birdseed. A 4.5" terra-cotta pot with saucer is included. Each one of our houses is made from new cedar featuring a slide out front. This unique feature allows you to easily open the birdhouse for cleaning without the hassle of removing screws or dealing with rusty hinges and hooks. Comes with a 4.5" terra-cotta pot with plate. Our houses are finished with Rubio Monocoat. A plant-based, hardwax oil wood finish that is 0% VOC. The interiors of each house is intentionally unfinished for the health of the occupants. You can choose from 4 different colors for the front: Blue, green, red and natural. OPTIONAL Erva Hanger for only $6. The perch is shipped detached. Glue is supplied to attach the perch.
