Coastal Watercolor Art

Welcome to Coastal Watercolor Art by Rosemary. Art has always been my hobby. The beach has always been my passion. After a career as a mental health provider and art therapist I finally had time to become more immersed in art and to expand my skills. In February 2020 I founded a charity to help girls from working families attend extracurricular activities. Then Covid happened and there was no way to fund raise in the traditional manner. I put that on the back burner and decided to spend time finally learning watercolor painting. After countless hours of classes, practice, trial and error I came up with some paintings and got up the courage to post them to some art and beach groups. To my surprise folks started asking if they could buy them! I wondered if this was God's way of sending me a funding source for my charity. So I started my art business on-line and now have expanded to shows and festivals and to this platform among others. All profits go to the 501c-3 corporation, The Fairy Godmother Project Inc. In 3 years I've raised over $8,000 and we are accomplishing our mission. It feels so good to pursue my passion and give to others! Thanks for visiting!
