It lays flat but once on it creates an adorable chicken complete with face and butt. Hat is a standard adult large - made for head sizes 21-23". Brim is adjustable. *Modified from the Kitty Cat Hat pattern from Blackstone Designs *Items are from a pet friendly home but every effort is made to keep them free of pet hair. Each hat is gone over with a lint roller once when completed, again for pictures and once more before shipping and is stored in a plastic bag otherwise. Please be aware of this though when ordering.
