Nobody wants the hassle of crank baits tangled up with a neighboring rod and taking the risk of cutting the line on one of your favorite rods. ---THE VALUE OF PURCHASING A FULLY FINISHED HARDWOOD PRODUCT--- Many people are selling their hardwood products as unfinished. We offer that as an option along with our color options but it is not recommended. Actual wood of any species (not including man made sheet goods), can warp, cup, twist and do all sorts of moving in it's unfinished state. All it takes is a change in humidity levels. So, buying a fully finished product really is the way to go if you want to ensure a nice straight product. For this reason, we can and will stain your product any color available from Minwax at no extra charge, even if it's not on our color list. Then apply 4 coats of semi-gloss varnish to ensure your product leaves our shop and arrives to your door in the absolute best condition.
