This one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic teapot is functional as well as decorative. I created this tea pot using porcelain clay that I threw on my pottery wheel and then altered, adding a spout, lid and handle. The purple, blue, black coloring comes from layering glazes and using a was resist to create a subtle pattern. It's a deep, rich color that is sure to hold your interest. It pours beautifully and holds 12 ounces of your favorite brew. This teapot is 6" high x 8" wide handle to spout and 5" deep. It's not made to be placed over an open flame, but is sturdy enough to handle hot water for steeping your tea. Comes with an artist's bio and is signed on the bottom rim.
