Product Description

Handmade Team: The Seller

Made By: We make our products by hand

This spindle may look basic, and that’s because it is. This is my daily driver spindle, the one that gets shoved into my carry on, joins me on hikes, and is general just a good ole spindle. Perfect for spinning heavier weight yarns and the long body allows you to hold up to 50g of singles in one go. (it's a stretch though and gets to be a pain on the arm, but you ~could~) Options: Drop Spindle + Jacob Sampler Box This sampler provides you with equal amounts of five shades of fiber. 5 oz Sampler Box, 1 oz / 29 grams each color Drop Spindle + 4 oz White Combed Roving Drop Spindle + 4 oz Black/Brown Combed Roving Just the Drop Spindle

Whitmoore Fibers

Welcome to Whitmoore Fibers! About Us! Celeste, Chewie the Choo Choo, and Dan bring you fibers from across the state and around the globe. 10 years ago, I promised Dan I would be his girlfriend if he bought me a bunny. So we got a bunny. Oddly enough, this bunny looked more like a seal, wound up weighing 150lbs, chewed a hole in the blanket on my loom, and tried to eat my drop spindle. He was my bunny though, and now I get my fiber fix in other ways, buying fleeces from farmers that know what they are doing and sharing the fiber love. Maybe someday we will have a flock of our own, whether that’s bunnies or sheep or goats, but for now Dan & I are the livestock and our guardians keep us out of trouble! SMALL FARMS We buy from farms that love their sheep but need alternate routes to sell their fleeces HIGH QUALITY These fleece come from sheep that live a life of luxury, wandering fields and enjoying life. SMALL BATCH Each fleece is skirted, scoured, and processed individually and by hand into roving, batts, and occasionally skeins of yarn.
