With a marbled appearance, these plastic eggs make great ornaments for any Easter Egg Tree (or even Halloween). This set of 12 already has twine attached for easy decorating. If they are not being displayed on a tree, the twine can be easily snipped off. They also look great in a basket display. This set comes in a foam egg carton as these eggs are about the size of a large chicken egg. (These eggs are colored with an ink that may scratch so the carton protects them during shipping and are great for storage.) This set contains darker colors like browns, blacks, and deep blues. These are not your traditional bright rainbow-colored eggs but they are great as Dragon Eggs and even fit into Halloween decor. These eggs are plastic, and they open up in the center. They are not food safe so any candy you place inside should be wrapped! They have holes in them (where the twine is attached) so they are not waterproof. They are meant for indoor displays. They can be used outdoors but some colors will fade in direct sunlight. I used a set last year outside for about a month and some colors were faded but they did survive rain and snow.
