This Extra Large 16.5" X 16.5" (14 X14 inch blocking area) blocking board is perfect for wet blocking crochet and knit squares. The holes are spaced out 1/2 of an inch using a CNC machine, allowing you greater sizing adjustment. These blocking boards are available in several wood species, including Ambrosia Maple, Birdseye Maple, Cherry, Curly Maple, Mahogany, Padauk and Peruvian Walnut. That's over 36% larger than our 12X12 boards. All of your boards are made of 100% natural domestic and exotic hardwoods. These are a natural, wood product, so each board is unique, due to wood grain patterns, knots, etc. Unlike boards made with bamboo and plywood, natural hardwoods won't separate over time like plywood blocking boards. Hardwoods also have a lower environmental impact than bamboo which is mainly glue and bamboo fibers. Overall board is 16.5" X 16.5". The Blocking space is approximately 14" X 14".
