Extra Large Pho Bowl, Ramen Bowl, Noodle Bowl with Chopsticks and Spoon, Holds 42 oz, Miso Soup Bowls, Rice Bowl
This large handmade pho noodle bowl is a work of art as well as a durable and functional piece of everyday pottery that you can use for your pho soup or rice and noodle meals. It features a layered dark purplish glaze and comes with a set of beautiful chopsticks with inlays on the handle end. These bowls are made to order. I create this pho bowl on my pottery wheel out of stoneware clay, cutting in the two chopstick holes and the semi-circular resting area across from the holes while the clay was soft. It's extra large to hold lots of pho or ramen noodles and broth. These bowls are around 4" high x 7" across and will hold around 42 ounces of broth, maybe more. If you would like a matching spoon for the broth in your soup, you can add one using the drop down menu. These are handmade. Please note that the underside of the spoons are unglazed so they won't stick to the kiln shelf during the firings. I signed the bowl on the bottom rim. Microwave and dishwasher safe. This listing is for ONE bowl, but you can order more by using the drop down menu to increase quantity. Also, you can use the drop down menus to choose whether you want to include a spoon with your set. (A pair of chopsticks is included in the price.) Because these are made by hand on my pottery wheel (not by machine or from a mold) each one varies slightly in size by maybe 1/4 inch or so. And sometimes in the kiln firing, they get slightly out of round as the heat matured the clay to make it durable.
