Sterling silver is a material that lasts for a long time with proper care -- these rings do best when not worn in the shower or at the pool. While tarnish may happen with exposure to moisture or water, you can easily clean these rings with a polishing cloth. 18 gauge wire is lightweight, thin, and a bit flexible.
