FRAMEABLE FAITH - Art Print of 63,779 Bible Cross References Visualization | Poster | Sign | Verse | Scripture | Jesus | Christian | Faith
36x22" printed visualization of cross-references in the Bible created by Chris Harrison. The poster can be ordered plain or signed by artist with a silver sharpie. This is a real signature, not a print of his signature. Depicted in this print are the 63K cross-references found in the Bible. Each is shown by a single arc, the color of which corresponds to the distance between chapters, creating a rainbow-like effect. The bar graph along the bottom represents all of the chapters in the Bible, starting with Genesis 1 on the left. Books alternate in color between light and dark gray, with the first book of the Old and New Testaments in white. The length of each bar denotes the number of verses in that chapter (for instance the longest bar is the longest chapter in the Bible, Psalm 119). There is no text on the poster, just arcs and bars, as seen in the photos. Jordan Peterson shows this graphic in a lecture discussing how the Bible can be considered "the first hyperlinked book": https://youtu.be/f-wWBGo6a2w?t=4300 More information can be found on the artist's website: https://chrisharrison.net/index.php/Visualizations/BibleViz What is a cross-reference? In some Bibles & all Study Bibles, cross-references are at the margin or bottom of the page. They link concepts, locations and people found in different parts of the text. High-quality offset print on 80 lb. paper. Art print is unframed with 1" white border. Proudly printed in Pittsburgh, PA. Ships in a heavy duty 24" tube.
