This beautiful, unique handmade Santa is from the "Tis the Night Collection . He is 12" while sitting (23" overall length). Santa is made from tea-dyed muslin with hand painted facial features. His hands are made from wool and his boots from black minkie fabric. (Wool used for mittens vary from photo - as I use available stock).His beard and hair are made from blue face Leicester wool (from Ireland). His coat and hat are made from wool felt with tea-dyed cotton batting trim. A jingle bell is attached to his hat. A black minkie belt with a buckle goes around is big belly. Santa has an armful of handmade toys ready for good little girls and boys along with his bag that is thrown over his shoulder. The bag is made from black minki fabric. The bear is made from tea-dyed flannel. He has hand embroidered facial features with a homespun fabric muffler around his neck. The doll is made from tea-dyed muslin with jute rope hair. Her homespun dress has a vintage button and cotton twine at the sleeves and dress bottom. Santa is also holding a jute jump rope, Christmas caroling book, Big Chief tablet with pencil, chalk board and a french horn. The chalkboard is hand painted with an addition problem. This is a beautiful display piece. Perfect for the mantle or by the fireplace. Wonderful decoration for the holiday season. This is not a toy.
