Mohair and Wool Rug Yarn Thick Cotton Core
I just finished creating a new lot of mohair/wool corespun rug yarn. The cream-colored mohair is natural and undyed and there is just enough bits of dyed wool to add a colorful, confetti effect. 100% Nevada-grown fiber. 95.24% Mohair and 4.76% Wool. This is a specific, limited lot - no other yarn will be quite the same as this one. I spun it lightly enough that it is still soft and flexible - while generally used for a variety of weaving projects, it is still flexible enough for knitting (with very large needles). Because of the specific technique used to create this yarn, there is inevitable thick and thin throughout each skein which will add character and uniqueness to your project. The 12 yard skein (pictured separately from the rest) was the first yarn from the lot as I was adjusting settings; as such, it will have the most variance throughout and the color scheme looks quite different than the rest of the lot.
