Erin King is from Bellefontaine, Ohio, but has lived, worked, and studied in Missouri for 18 years. King received her Bachelor's from Webster University - St. Louis in 2012, and her Master's of Fine Art in Studio Art from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 2019. She has worn many different hats throughout her work history: AmeriCorps VISTA for an urban farm 501(c)3, graphic designer, gallery attendant, adjunct professor, and Direct Support Professional. The constant throughout has been her art practice. Felt Cute Handcrafts is the craft brand of fiber artist Erin King. King creates needle-felted figurines, ornaments, and keychains. King specializes in crafting replicas of pet paws as mementos, miniatures of pets from reference photos, and characters from popular video games, cartoons, and anime. King also creates digital drawings from photographs of pets for stickers and greeting cards which are available on her RedBubble shop (erinkkingart.redbubble.com) or small orders directly through her home sublimation studio. King also uses her digital sticker designs as a starting point for her for her line embroidery.
