For color, I used pottery glazes and sealed in the design with a translucent glaze, and is sturdy enough to place in the dishwasher. The pitcher will hold more than a half gallon of your favorite beverage and is 9" high x 6 across at the belly. I signed it on the bottom rim. Dishwasher safe!
