This necklace is a One-of-a-Kind necklace made with vintage plastic buttons designed & created by HandCrafted Heart. This gorgeous an unique necklace is made with different sized and patterned red, black and orange vintage plastic buttons. They are held together with silver jump rings and each button strand is attached to the necklace chain. I acquired the buttons somewhere around 1989-1990 at my cousin's house. She worked many years at a button factory and had jars and jars of buttons. My Mom and I loved trinkets, charms, buttons etc., so my cousin let us at her stash! What a fantastic day. We picked out many interesting buttons and I have used a few on crafts and a couple really cool pins throughout the years, but had never used them as a centerpiece for a main project. I found the buttons again while going through all my jewelry supplies while setting up my new studio space...and I became inspired. After all those years I utilized some of those buttons! The neck chain is a dark silver curb chain. It is finished off with a dark silver lobster claw clasp. This necklace is about 18 inches long and adjustable down.
