This original painting in watercolor of a beautiful orange Tiger Lily flower is part of a series of wildflowers I've been painting as I come across these plants while hiking in Oregon. I found this one while hiking along the McKenzie River this spring. The brightness really captures your eye among all the greenery of the forest. I painted this using artist quality watercolor pigments on 140 lb Arches watercolor paper from France. It will last you a lifetime and longer.
