Beautifully crafted from hand picked Southwest Florida Oyster Shells and natural coral clump, this is an original artwork created by Captain Carolyn Simoneau. All shells and coral are hand collected from the waters around Sanibel Island by myself and my husband John while on our dolphin, shelling and sightseeing boat tours we run from our business Beach Buddy Tours-Cape Coral Dolphin Tours in Cape Coral Fl. The shells are collected, cleaned and then made into a unique, one of a kind flower sculpture. For this creation, the shells were hand painted using a high quality deep base acrylics in tones of light pinks and pinks. The petals and leaves have been trimmed with liquid leaf. A lovely purple flower center embellishment was added. The flower is resting on top of a piece of coquina stone. The piece was sealed in lacquer. This original piece is roughly 6.5" x 5.5" wide and 3.25" tall. A protective acrylic disk has been attached to the bottom of the piece to ensure no scratch marks from the oyster shell to your furniture. Please message me with any questions!
