Pinguicula x "Pirouette" is a cute cultivar grown for its pretty pink foliage. This plant does not go through true dormancy, but will turn fleshier and greener when grown under winter lighting. In our experience, flowers are typically produced when the plant is in a more succulent phase following a well-fed carnivorous season. "Pirouette" is an attractive windowsill companion and is not too picky about changes in light cycle, but will only turn completely pink under very bright light. The plant(s) you receive may be greener than those pictured. All plants are shipped bare root! For all plants, we recommend increasing humidity while acclimating the plants to their new home. You can accomplish this by placing the potted plant in a sealed plastic bag or covering the top of the pot with a clear plastic/glass cup. If dew is present on the plants, gradually increase air flow over a few days until your plant is completely in the open. For seedlings, free to leave the plants in the shipping cup for a few days while you acclimate the plants before transplanting.
