It doesn’t have to be the Fourth of July to enjoy this beautifully handcrafted piece of Americana decor. The Bald Eagle has been made using assorted fabrics. His face and “faux feathers” have been painted along with his beak. His glass eyes have been accented with acrylics. 

 He is wearing a navy blue homespun coat with tails. The sleeves have crocheted accent trim with a white cotton ruffle. His jacket is lined with red with gold metallic fabric. There are numerous layers of ruffles laying across his breast representing a shirt. The pants are made from black and striped ticking. The talons have been formed from wire and wrapped with yellow/gold chenille stems. He proudly sits and holds the American Flag.
