A set of 18 plastic eggs in assorted rainbow colors will brighten any Easter Egg Tree or Basket. These eggs are colored with inks that make them appear marble-like. There are 8 colors in this set with a black and white (pearl). The 8 colors come in a glossy and a pearl finish so there are 2 of each color: pink, red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, blue, and purple. These eggs do open in the center but are not food-safe so any candy or treat should be wrapped before placing inside. Each egg also has holes in both the top and bottom so string or twine can be used to hang the eggs on a tree. The bottom is also slightly flat so that the egg can stand on its own. Compared to my other listing of rainbow eggs (those that have twine), these eggs are slightly larger and the plastic is a bit thicker. And these do stand on their own and can be strung from the top or the bottom. They still can fade in direct sunlight and will scratch if knocked around together. They are meant for indoor decoration but I have used them outside in rain and snow with only fading color on some of them. Not recommended for Egg Hunts as they do have holes that can let in water.
