This red lidded butter dish features a wonderful design that includes wheel thrown porcelain clay with hand built features. The artistic design and the rich red glaze on this make quite the statement for your table setting. The lid measures 4" high x 5" wide x 6".5 long and the tray is 8" x 6" x 1"....plenty large for most any size stick of butter. The opening to hold the butter is 3.5" x 6". It's very durable and may be cleaned in the dishwasher and used in the microwave, too, (if you want to soften some butter.) If this is a gift, I'm happy to include a card with a message from you in the package. Just leave me the wording in the notes to seller at check out.
