RESTRAINT, Stained Glass Window Panel, Stained Glass Art, Stain Glass Hanging Panel, Vintage Church Glass Unlike my usual pieces which are pre-planned and cut to fit a particular shape, I took pieces of glass and assemble them into this design. I got this VINTAGE STAINED GLASS from St Mary's Catholic Church, Main Street, Fairfield, PA 17320. It took a lot of time to break it all out of the ancient lead channel, clean and scrubbed it down, and then wrapped every piece in copper foil (I specialize in the Tiffany Glass technique). There are a few open holed areas where you can see directly through the glass panel. Please see detailed pictures for more. The stained glass used in this window is from a decommissioned Catholic Church from Fairfield, PA 17320. Genuine Vintage Glass!! I was gifted it many moons ago by the administration and if you look through my sales you will find the Messiah Centerpiece which is hanging in the library of the Catholic University of America, Washington DC. This piece was created by assembling prewrapped pieces into a spontaneous design. There are empty spaces scattered throughout the body of the panel. It is suitable for exterior placement as garden art. There are many precious pieces of hand-painted glass, creating their own “rose-window” within the panel. Framed in sturdy zinc channel frame, which has embedded hangers on the top corners and comes with steel jack chain for easy hanging.
