Ceramic lighted Christmas tree. Appx 9". Hand painted and decorated with real looking Red acrylic gumdrops. (KEEP OUT OF REACH OF SMALL CHILDREN - they do look real) Each gumdrop is individually glued on. This beautiful Small Sierra Spruce tree was cast in a Nowell Co Hobby Mold. When ready, it was removed from the mold, & partially dried. The holes for the gumdrops were put in at this time. The tree was allowed to dry the rest of the way. Seamlines were then removed & Details recarved as needed. Once the tree was inspected, it was loaded in the kiln. Fired to an 04 firing. (4 - 6 hrs) Cooled completely (8 - 12 hrs), then it was basecoated, stained, Spray sealed, then the branches were tipped with white to create the snow look. Spray sealed again, once dried, the red gumdrops were glued on .The base was also painted to match the tree. A small tree kit was installed in the base, inspected again, then listed here for you to purchase. It takes me several days to create a tree. I have 1 of these in the Red color like this picture, in stock. I do take special orders & I do have additional gumdrop trees, in different colors to be listed soon.
