This is a customized, personalized stick specific to each person's personality, personal medicine, values/beliefs, memberships, life experiences/trajectories. I include many tiny-detail elements in its creation, which takes an inordinate amount of time- I was awake about a snake over one of these last month trying to incorporate a "snake clan" symbol for a member of a special Tribe. Some elements of this creation involve my supernatural experiences, abilities r/t both a car wreck/brain injury and a ;ong lineage or long line of "healers", which in Melungeon/Pasqaq culture and American Indian culture can mean Shaman, Medicine Persons as well as technician-herbalists (difference between intuitive or 6th sense healers & mechanical-process healthcare). So, there are aspects of this craft item that involve me asking/simply knowing things about you that you tell me that will become part of this craft item that can sit in a corner but is better used at a festival booth, dancing, folk healing/drumming/family/tribal gatherings.
