On April 8th, 2024, there will be a total solar eclipse. It will start off the west coast of Mexico and go up to Maine in the United States. To celebrate I made these solar eclipse earrings. I crocheted these earrings on 3.5 cm hoops (~1.5 in) which reaches to orange section. I mirrored the crochet pattern for each earring to simulates the motion of the moon in front of the sun.
