This is a 2-layer hair bow. Side: Please indicate if the bow will be worn on the right or the left side of the child's head. Why? The print will be upside down if you put your child's hair back to one side and you order the wrong side. If you are simply wearing the bow above a ponytail, then the side doesn't matter. If you pull her hair back to HER right, then you need a right bow, etc. The bow measures approximately 4 to 4.5 inches wide. It can be mounted on a large (3") french barrette OR a partially lined alligator clip.
