Elegant and eye catching, this Viking necklace holds a sparkling domed glass image of the Vegvisir, silhouetted against a blue background reminiscent of a stormy sea. Originally from Iceland, the Vegvisir symbol means 'guidepost', and makes use of the Futhark Runes. It will guide you through 'rough weather' or rough times. It is also called a Runic Compass or Wayfinder. My own design, this is made with paper, glass, and metal. It is lightweight but sturdy.
