Beach Crafts By Lizzie

Welcome to Beach Crafts By Lizzie on MakerPlace! I am so excited to share my creations with other "beach loving people"! Recently I have taken time to slow down a bit and appreciate more of nature. Specifically, the beaches of Long Island, NY. Collecting treasures from the beach and creating with them has been pure pleasure. A few years ago I started getting crafty with some of the treasures I have found. I love shelling and beachcombing - so much so that I usually get a neck ache by the time I leave from looking down at the sand for hours! Being able to live about 15 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean allows me to go treasure hunting every day if I wanted. I can't do that but the beaches are there if I could. And that is how I became an accidental "outdoor artist" of sorts. It's truly incredible what beautiful seashells and driftwood pieces there are out there. The colors, shapes and sizes are quite unique. I marvel at how mother nature brings us these creations by tumbling them in the sea and baking them in the sun. I am so glad that I can re-purpose some of these treasures and make them into something that others can enjoy too! Thanks for visiting my new store!
