Welcome to Dancing Horse Glass Studio I am Shelley E Preble and I am a fused glass artist. I make glass art through the use of fusible glass and kilns. I use of heat up to almost 1500 degrees to fuse glass and then use different techniques to slump glass into functional dishes, create components for making wall and home decor, or use enamels for painting pictures on glass. I enjoy making a variety of glass art - functional dishes and platters, wall art, home decor items, and floral/beach/scenic glass pieces. My glass art does span a wide variety of interests. I started with stained glass in 1995 but discovered glass fusing in 2010. Within 6 months I had my first kiln. I now have 3 kilns. I have never looked back. I have a passion for glass fusing. I enjoy creating a piece, putting it in the kiln, and seeing the results the next day. Glass fusing is magic!
