House of Jasper Jewelry

Welcome to House of Jasper Jewelry! My name is Carol Ritter and I handmake bracelets and earrings from natural stones, vintage beads and focals, and unique components. Every piece I make is unique and one of a kind. Once a design is created, I do not remake it the same way or with the same materials. I worked as a litigation paralegal for 35 years, and started making jewelry as a creative outlet. My husband suggested that perhaps I could make it a business, and once I retired, I started devoting more time to creating. Initially, I started making my pieces from natural stones, but the more I created, the more I branched out to include charms, special focals, unique components and vintage materials. I source my materials from reputable sellers and antique and thrift stores. Repurposing old jewelry is my contribution to sustainability. I like to find unusual materials that fire my imagination and beg to be worked into a piece that will be as unique as the person who wears it. My jewelry is a little bit bohemian, a little bit vintage, a little bit art deco.
