Welcome to The Crafty Q! I’m Bev Quaresima. I create several types of merchandise, but, my book art is my most popular work! Everything can be customized and created to match your decor! My painted book stacks are made from real books that have been painted and decorated with flowers and ribbons. I’ve made stacks of as many as six books to capture family names or favorite phrases. I also make cut and folded books. Once the pattern is created, each page is carefully hand measured, marked, cut and folded. How the folds are made determines if the pattern is popping out of the book, inverted or a combination of the two. Some inverted designs are filled with card stock to make the design pop even more! I also create photo strip books. These books make a unique gift and are a great way to get your favorite photos off of your phone and displayed throughout your home or office. I start with a digital image, create the pattern and attach strips of paper to the edges of the book pages. I love watching these come to life!
